The Middle School

Malvern Prep enrolls boys beginning in the sixth grade. Small by design, the sixth grade is composed of about 40 young men. The seventh grade is composed of 55 students, which includes 15 new students. An almost equal amount of “new” students, approximately 60 to 65 will join the class at the 9th grade level.  Experience shows that most young men need at least 4 years at Malvern to fully participate in school life and to take advantage of the many academic and extracurricular opportunities available. The vast majority of our students enter in sixth, seventh and ninth grades.

Malvern’s Middle School program was started in 1978 and has grown into an energetic place where students begin to experience life and prepare an academic foundation in a safe and caring environment. It is one of the many highlights of life at Malvern Prep.
